Can I play for free anytime?
Yes. As soon as you have registered as a Guest Player at PokerTime, you can start playing for free. You don't need to fund your poker account first.
How do I get free poker chips?
Your free poker chips are automatically deposited into your account as soon as you register as a Guest Player, and are available to you immediately.
How many free poker chips do I get?
You get 2,000 free chips to play with initially.
Are all the poker games available to play for free?
Yes. You can play Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo, 7-Card Stud and 5-Card Stud for free. There are a variety of betting structures and limits available, just as there are with the real money games.
How do I find the free tables?
When the game lobby opens, you will see the table list for the various types of poker. To see the table list for each type, select the desired game type tab, and the relevant table list will be displayed with the details of each table. The free tables are shown in blue, and the word "Play" appears next to the stakes information. To join a free table, simply double-click the table name in the list, or select the table and click the "Join Table" button.
What happens if I run out of free poker chips?
You are limited to 2,000 free chips per day. If you run out of chips you will have to wait until the next day when your account will automatically be refreshed with another 2,000 chips.

Real Player FAQ's
What is the minimum amount I need to play at a real-money table?
To become a Real Player, the minimum purchase required to play for real is only $20.
What happens to the money I have bet if I get disconnected during a game?
Your hand and bet are protected as per an "All In" situation unless you do something to fold your hand. Please note that to prevent this feature from being abused, there is a limit of "All Ins" over a 24-hour period that is set by the administrators.
What happens to my money at a table if I sit out a few hands and return?
Your money is not touched at all while you sit out. When you return to the table your money will still be there for you as you left it.
You can leave the table for a few hands by clicking the "Sit Out" checkbox. While this is checked you will not be dealt in to any hand.
Remember: You are removed from a table if you sit out for more than fifteen minutes or have missed two rounds of blinds.
What is the rake?
The rake is a small amount that is removed from each pot to pay the house.
